Muscari are attractive perennial plants which have linear or strap-like leaves and small bell-shaped flowers. The flowers tend to be blue, however white varieties are also available.

The plants should be planted in full sun locations, and like any soil except clay types. They are particularly hardy, and survive in the most cold of Winters in the United Kingdom.

Propagation can be made via seed produced after the flowering period, or by division of clumps in Summer which is recommended after several years in any case.
