Pachysandra is one of the few plants that absolutely can not stand full sun, and require a location that is preferably in full shade however part shade is also suitable.
They remain evergreen throughout the year and have a mat forming habit. In Summer they produce white flowers and feature plain green leaves, except for the variegated variant which has a cream colour as well.
They are suitable for any soil type, and any exposure. Moisture in the soil is preferable, even being able to thrive in poor-draining soil, however in some cases it can become invasive so beware of other smaller plants nearby.
