Airing in 1936, Magic Island was a serial aimed at younger audiences that ran for one hundred and thirty episodes; each being twelve minutes long. The show revolves around a wealthy woman who is searching for her long-lost daughter.
Maltby Collection, The
Set in a museum and curated by eccentrics and obsessives, who have to fight to save the museum which is planned for a shut down. The Maltby Collection ran for three series.
The Marriage was a short show which aired in 1953 and 1954. It centres around New York attorney Ben Marriott who is married to Liz, a former department store fashion buyer who struggles to switch to domestic life. The show was unique as each week would switch narration between Ben and Liz to offer a different viewpoint.
Moon Over Africa
South African show Moon Over Africa follows the journey of Professor Anton Edwards and his crew as he searches for the city of Atlantis. Trekking through the jungle they encounter numerous hazards. Twenty-six episodes survive, with each being around twelve minutes in length.
Museum of Curiosity, The
Each episode features three guests who donate exhibits to an imaginary museum. A total of seventy-two episodes over twelve series have been aired and feature guests including Neil Gaiman, Rufus Hound, Brian Blessed, and Dr Alice Roberts.
Museum of Everything, The
Running for eighteen episodes across three series, The Museum of Everything aired between 2004 and 2006, and starred Marcus Brigstocke. The show is set in a wide range of exhibits in a museum, but is built around the theme of galleries and stately homes.
My Teenage Diary
Now up to eight series, My Teenage Diary invites a new guest on each episode to read extracts from their diaries when they were younger. Guests over the years include Chris Packham, Victoria Coren, John Finnemore, and Vanessa Feltz.
