Twenty-Twelve

Jerry and Brett are on a train with Brett being told to keep what he is about to see secret. Eventually arriving, Jerry reveals that he owns the land they are on and has been working on a project - an underground compound - with some other people. Jerry believes that the world on is about to end on December 21st and sets about introducing his brother to the others before having him sign the oath they have agreed. Brett questions what his brother has gotten himself into and finds himself being made to join at gunpoint before stumbling on a government plot.

...And Cauldron Bubble

A college drama class rehearse the final scene of their play - Macbeth - though the participants begun to suffer incidents including a rope burn and car trouble. The students also take to gossiping about long-serving theatre janitor Glenn who arrives late to clean up with his dog Toby as well as discussing the rumours that Shakespeare used real spells when writing his play, which is the cause of the maladies. As bad things continue to happen, the students spend the evening before opening night resorting to cast a spell and requiring help from Glenn who has been hiding a secret about his life.

Missing, Presumed Dead

Out in a foreign jungle, a military platoon is losing significant numbers of men and ultimately the war. Their captain is reduced to anger at having to store the bodies out in the open while awaiting transport and also hope that the missing men will be found safe despite being out of contact for some time. The remaining men discuss whether they will be next to die. Their captain however begins to breakdown and heads into an off-limits valley where he discovers that he needs to let the dead be read rather than simply missing.

Rest Stop

A government meeting about space defense, a number of politicians voice their displeasure at the high spending on the programme due to a lack of threats, they happen to spot incoming objects. However, they quickly discover that the objects are not missiles as initially believed and are instead large oil drum shaped spacecraft which take specimens of Earth's resources. However, no aliens emerge as the government contemplates attacking them while people around the world begin to panic, before the aliens leave without making their intentions, whether good or bad, known.

The 25th Hour

Nate is an overworked graphic artist for a cosmetics company and facing pressure to finish a magazine sketch, who is also getting yelled at by his boss. He decides to quit his job after his boss smashes his mobile phone during a conversation with his wife Christine who is upset at her not spending any time with her. When their relationship finally breaks down, Nate encounters an elderly man who introduces him to a weird device which he claims allows the user to add extra time in the day - an hour - where time freezes for the rest of the world.

Another Time in Place

Matt, a physicist has invented a device which can transport objects to other dimensions, while his wife Marie decries the conditions they have had to live with for the past twenty years on a small, remote island. With their marriage failing and Marie intent on leaving, Matt is convinced to use the device to try to obtain them a better life. However, their meddling has them struggle to find a universe in which they can be happy, and Marie makes the situation worse for herself by transporting herself to a place where Matt is married to Angela.
