1. Let's Talk About Sex
Psychotherapist Spencer Pandy arrives at his ex-wife, Tina, and children's house feeling fed up as usual at remembering the family situation he used to have. He also finds Owen's motorbike on the driveway who is the boyfriend of Tina. Walking ten year old daughter Tilly to school, he finds that they are learning about sex in rather explicit detail and sets about confronting her teacher. Back at the house, teenage son Dylan is looking for his lucky pants in preparation for a test where Spencer can't help but think about Tina's new life with Owen, which involves him deciding to take his old clothes to the charity shop in an effort to feel better. He also takes to collecting Tilly from school where he finds more discussion from her about sex which has now been joined by cancer. Starting to be irritated at his life, Spencer manages to get arrested by kicking the charity shop door in while Owen finds his bike has been vandalised.
2. A Recipe for Disaster
Tina finds the children have somehow shaved the hair from the tail of the cat as she continues her struggles with working from home. Spencer meanwhile comes to believe that the children aren't eating as well as they used to when he was living in the house, though is making use of the larger kitchen in his new flat with purchases of international food, much to Tina's dismay as he takes to taking on the language while purchasing foods from around the world. Heading out to his next client who turns out to be a Mexican woman who he upsets, but still manages to get a recipe from. At home, Dylan is complaining about having to visit his father who is preparing for a supermarket delivery, and can't help complain about it arriving earlier than the allocated time. Back at home, Owen manages to draw moustaches on the children with permanent marker.
