Series 1

1. Happy Week

Edge Falls Retail Village manager Sonya arrives as head of security Mick is showing new colleague Rez the ropes, though she immediately has doubts about his trustworthiness and takes to questioning him on his beliefs. With "Happy Week" having arrived for the retail park, Rez has his own questions about the job and the "sacred grounds" portion of the car park, while Milosh struggles to earn a living as the car washer. However, the shopping trip does not prove happy for one mum who loses her daughter Tina or Mick, who has flashbacks to a distant memory. The event sets Mick and Rez off down a nearby sewer in search of the child.

2. Family Fun Day

'Animal Man' Dickie Doubleday is booked to attend the retail park for a family fun day, and is greeted by Sonya who is a big fan. His arrival spurs Sonya to complete her break-up with Mick by returning his belongings. A bomb in a bag is discovered at the retail park, and Mick and Sonya get into an argument about how to deal with it, with Sonya keen to avoid the bad press of the bomb squad. Rez meanwhile makes an attempt with the sales girl, Tina, at the pound shop, though fails badly, and his day gets worse when he is called upon by Mick to move the bomb. Completing a controlled explosion, the bag is found to belong to Dickie who refuses to see his fans without his bag.

3. Healthy Week

Mick and Rez are stuck with a slow day in which nothing is happening as Healthy Week has arrived at Edge Falls. Mick takes to telling Rez about his ability to predict the future and upsets ex-wife Valerie when he tries to dissuade her from new boyfriend Rick. The retail park also takes to hosting pilates sessions which ends with Mick punching the instructor, while an irate customer takes to threatening to throw himself from the roof after a bad experience trying to return an item. When he resorts to stripping off his clothes, Mick and Rez are stuck in the elevator trying to get up to "save" him on Sonya's command to hide him in whatever way they can.

4. Gorilla Tactics

Rez has bought a car in the hopes of impressing Tina, which leaves Mick less than impressed as Valerie continues to refuse to talk to him. Mick has also taken to doing both the night and day shifts, and is under pressure to ensure the retail park is safe ready for the elderly visitor group due to arrive. On the trail of a graffiti artist, Mick and Rez see the camera footage of an apparent gorilla-man, who goes on to kidnap Valerie. Giving chase in Rez's car, Mick ends up crashing it into the gorilla-man's as he attempts to leave the retail park. Attempting to interview the concussed gorilla-man, they discover he is called Phil who has a vendetta against the retail park.

5. Mother of Shopping

Sonya has news of retail group boss Jeff Birkenfleck, will be arriving to unveil a statue "the Mother of Shopping", and Sonya sets about impressing. Valerie has Mick's emotions in turmoil with it being her final day, however attention is diverted by a group of anti-capitalists "Global Warriors for Justice" who are planning to be on site. Rez also has news that he will be leaving Edge Falls due to being offered a place at university. With Mick in denial, he meets the "creator" of the mother of shopping, who is attending for the grand-unveiling. Sonya is soon given a promotion by Mr. Birkenfleck who promises her a chance to move on to bigger and better things, though the statue threatens to undo it all.

Episode 1

It's Pink Thursday at Edge Falls in which Sonya hopes to attract gay shoppers. Valerie meanwhile has been promoted to manager, while Milosh is also back washing cars at the retail park. Mick and Rez are soon called into action when they spot a man being mugged, while the event proves to be a hit with discounts for coming out. Rebecca, a gay journalist turns up to cover the event during which she senses Sonya may say something out of place who immediately becomes defensive while being interviewed. Mick catches the man who was being mugged supposedly shoplifting from a store, before a fight over a crockery set has Mick and Rez called into action again, as the hopes of a favourable review fade.

Episode 2

Sonya catches Mick playing a game instead of working, though attention is distracted by the news that Edge Falls is now licensed to conduct marriage ceremonies. Mick has to deal with a tramp prior to the wedding starting, however he soon finds the man has deceased. Rez arrives to help Mick move the body until after the wedding is over, while the wedding gets off to a bad start and Sonya soon finds that the tramp is actually the bride's father. Darryl the police officer returns sniffing around at the retail park which risks the body being discovered. Quick-thinking by Valerie however ends with Darryl being given a magic mushroom sandwich, while the bride eventually comes across her father.

Episode 3

The retail park is running a sale and Sonya attempts to get Milosh to lower his car-washing prices. Mick meanwhile is trying to eat breakfast before being disturbed by Sonya who wants rid of a "homeless man" and has news of her recent night out with Valerie. Mick plans on reuniting with Valerie with concert tickets for Dirty Dancing but ends up being handcuffed to a railing with the homeless man who is actually a protestor, with Sonya joining them shortly after. His demands, while now naked, are to call off the sale and things get worse when Darryl turns up.

Episode 4

Bill Oddie has cancelled his attendance at Edge Falls for the third time, with a new pet shop left without a guest to open the store, and leaving Sonya angry. Valerie meanwhile tries to convince Mick that someone is getting into the store at night after finding things have moved. Alan Perkins, from Psychic TV turns up at the retail park to perform the opening, which leaves Sonya less than impressed. Rez and Mick take to investigating the pet shop, and find that a deadly snake may have escaped its container. However, the situation at the pet store reveals a dirty secret the owner has been hiding.

Episode 5

Rez is taking charge as Acting Head of Security for the day despite his reluctance. Char week which has arrived with Sonya's eldest Tanya spending the day at the retail park for work experience as a blood donation checkpoint is setup at Edge Falls, while Tanya attracts the attentions of Rez. Valerie meanwhile turns to Mick for advice when she decides she wants a baby and Darryl refuses to sleep with her. When Mick discovers his air rifle is being used to rob Carpet Yes, he sets about deciding on what to do while the armed robber turns out to be known to Sonya which causes big problems for him.

Episode 6

It is May Day and Darryl arrives with news for Mick and Rez that a dangerous inmate has escaped from a nearby prison and he has broken up with Valerie. With security on alert for the man, a number of dancers setup to perform at the retail park having arrived in a petrol-leaking van. Rez sets about going undercover dressed as a tree to find the convict contemplating the end of his time at Edge Falls before heading to university. Mick sets about apprehending his suspect though ends up starting a fire in the car park as Darryl reveals he lied about a convict escaping. With the fire spreading to the buildings, Rez is in mortal danger when he gets stuck on the roof.
