The club chairman, Mr Chairman, and treasurer Rex Jones run a radio station in a small Welsh village from the local social club, though the audience numbers are struggling in the single digits. Mr Chairman is hoping for a better show than last week as they prepare to go on air with a feel good Friday broadcast, though Rex's topic is austerity. Things don't get much better when Rex tells his funny story of a squirrel in the basement as well as repeatedly pushes the wrong soundclip button, before airing his short "vacation" on a Welsh bus piece.

1. Hospital
Mr Chairman and Rex are hosting Medical Hour on the air, with their usual caller ringing in. Mr Chairman also has to deal with a staffing problem when news bulletin reader Steve fails to turn up, while Rex has outspent the radio station budget. Attempting to improve the stations fortunes, they contemplate applying for community radio station of the year though find a deadline means they have to try a different tack. Steve eventually turns up but manages to fall downstairs and break his nose, leaving Rex keen to make use of his "skills" which leads them to the idea of registering the social club as a medical facility.
