Caretaker Bob Braithwaite is musing on what little is happening from the top of Blackpool Tower as they prepare to close for the day. Using his large binoculars to observe on the goings on below, he observes Clinton J Beesley who is known as the "King of the Weddings" who is hosting a dinner for his twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, Clinton's decision to be too honest after drinking too many glasses of 'Vulgarro' at the local Italian has Jan revealing her feelings causing their marriage to unravel.
